Twee Gebroeders

The "Twee Gebroeders" was built in 1900 as a sailing cargo ship. The former cargo hold is now a comfortable and atmospheric space with plenty of natural light, with a well-equipped bar and a spacious buffet. There are also several seating areas with comfortable sofas and chairs. There are benches on deck, but there is also plenty of space on the wooden canopy where you can sit in the sun and enjoy SAIL.

In 2025, SAIL will return after 10 years with a triple anniversary: the most 
spectacular edition ever! Together, we will celebrate the 10th edition of the largest freely accessible event in the Netherlands, 50 years of SAIL and the 750th anniversary of our capital city. In the nautical setting of international Tall Ships and thousands of boats, 2.3 million visitors will gather from 20 to 24 August 2025. The IJ harbour will be coloured orange and up to the NDSM wharf you will experience 5 days of fraternisation and top entertainment on the water. You have to be there!
