Information
On board a Dutch Tall Ship, (luxury) traditional sailing ship or director's ship, you will experience SAIL up close! You and your guests will be warmly welcomed at one of our SAIL Villages, specially designed reception locations in the Western Harbour Area. Accompanied by a hostess, we will take you to the ship booked exclusively for your group, where the captain and crew will warmly greet you.
During the closing ceremony of SAIL 2025, the impressive Tall Ships will depart from Amsterdam. Thousands of fans wave goodbye to the ships and their crews. Flags and pennants create a colourful spectacle. Accompany the ships on their way to the sea on board one of the official SAIL vessels. Together, we look forward to a reunion at #SAIL2030.

Program
Date: 24th August 2025
1:00 PM
Gather at SAIL Village. Guests check-in at the counter reserved specifically for your company. Upon arrival, coffee and tea will be served.
2:00 PM
The captain personally welcomes you aboard your reserved ship. Around 2:30 PM, the Sail-Out Parade begins. The tall ships depart one by one from IJhaven and sail onto the North Sea Canal, accompanied by a fleet of vessels. You will sail with your group in this fantastic 'Sail-Out Parade'. On board, appetizers and drinks will be served.
5:00 PM
Hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts line the route to watch from a distance. Meanwhile, an extensive buffet will be served on board.
7:00 PM
The captain docks at SAIL Village and bids farewell to you and your group. An unforgettable, inspiring, and unifying experience!
