Sail with a purpose
This ship is owned by the association Amis de Jeudi-Dimanche (AJD). L’AJD bought this ship as a second schooner in 1973, with the same objective as the Bel Espoir, ie sailing with problem youths and addicts so that they can find their way back into society with their sailing traineeship.
The association AJD of Michel Jaouen (former chaplain of the prison system), was founded in 1954 to bring about the resocialization of problem youths through various employment programs.
