The Oranjehaven (IJ-haven) is the heart of SAIL, where the international Tall Ships are moored. Welcome your guests with a Harbour arrangement on deck of one of these breathtaking ships for drinks or dinner. While the ship remains docked, you'll have an impressive view over the bustling harbor to toast together! Only during the SAIL-In Parade do you have the unique opportunity to book a floating Harbour arrangement.

A unique experience is sailing aboard one of the international Tall Ships during the SAIL In parade. Early in the morning, you'll board in IJmuiden. As the lock gates open, a breathtaking scene unfolds. Thousands of boats on the water and hundreds of thousands of people on the quays are ready to give the magnificent sailing ships a warm welcome.

Program

Date: 20th August 2025

08:30 AM

You and your party are expected at the boarding point. Buses will be ready to take you to the ship.

09:30 AM

The captain personally welcomes you aboard your reserved ship. A light breakfast is served onboard. Once everyone is aboard, the ship departs towards Amsterdam. After passing through the locks, many hospitality ships are waiting to welcome the Tall Ships.

01:00 PM

While hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts gather along both banks of the North Sea Canal, an extensive lunch is served onboard.

01:30 PM

The Tall Ships sail together with all the ships towards Amsterdam in a long parade. In the afternoon, a savory snack is served onboard.

04:30 PM

The captain docks at the IJ-haven and bids farewell to you and your party. The shuttle bus is ready to take you back to Beverwijk. An unforgettable, inspiring, and connecting experience!
