Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of SAIL aboard a luxury salon boat, charming passenger ship, or small luxury sailing vessel. Board with your guests at the specially equipped harbor within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station, easily accessible by public transport. From here, you'll sail directly into the Oranjehaven (IJhaven) to admire the nautical scenery amidst hundreds of ships, boats, and sloops. During the approximately three-hour cruise, the friendly crew will delight you and your guests with delicious snacks for lunch or cocktails.

Dozens of impressive Tall Ships sail in full splendor towards Amsterdam. Sailors brave the winds high up in the masts. Welcome the ships and their crews aboard one of the official SAIL vessels, and await the spectacular SAIL-In Parade as they enter Amsterdam. From the water, you'll have a fantastic view of this unparalleled spectacle.

Program

Date: 20th August 2025

12:30 PM

Gather at the reception location near Oosterdok. Upon arrival, coffee and tea will be served.

1:00 PM

The ship will be docked and ready at the pier. The skipper and crew warmly welcome you and your guests on board. The moorings are released promptly, and lunch is served.

2:00 PM

The Tall Ships, accompanied by hundreds of boats, arrive in Amsterdam. This is the renowned SAIL-In event, where ships, crews, and visitors from around the world gather. You will sail towards the impressive fleet with your guests and collectively greet the most beautiful and largest ships.

3:00 PM

In the afternoon, a snack will be served on board.

4:30 PM

The captain docks at the SAIL terminal and bids farewell to you and your party. This afternoon promises to be an unforgettable, inspiring, and unifying experience!
