Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of SAIL aboard a luxury salon boat, charming passenger ship, or small luxury sailing vessel. Embark with your guests from the specially prepared harbour within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station, conveniently accessible by public transport. From here, you'll sail directly into Oranjehaven (IJhaven) to admire the nautical scenery amidst hundreds of ships, boats, and sloops. During the approximately three-hour cruise, the friendly crew will delight you and your guests with delicious snacks for lunch or cocktails.

There's no better place for drinks and bites than aboard a ship during SAIL. Departing from the reception location in the heart of Amsterdam, you'll immediately enter the maritime festivities. The lively sounds of all the celebrations greet you across the water—it's one grand floating party.

Program

Date: 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd August 2025

4:00 PM

Gather at the reception location. Upon arrival, coffee and tea will be served.

4:30 PM

The ship will be docked and ready at the pier. The skipper and crew warmly welcome you and your guests on board.

5:30 PM

Departing from the boarding location, you'll sail directly into the heart of the event. The highlight is Oranjehaven (IJ-haven), where the impressive Tall Ships are moored. As you glide past these majestic vessels, enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks.

7:00 PM

The skipper safely docks the ship back at the reception location. The crew bids farewell to you and your party, hoping everyone has enjoyed this fantastic experience.
